I had read a while back that the Jonas brothers preferred girls that dressed modestly. I was happy that a very popular "boy band" would prefer a modest girl.
That's why I was a little dissappointed that Kevin's bride chose a strapless Vera Wang wedding gown.
What is your opinion? Can a modest bride wear a strapless wedding dress?
It is her choice to wear whatever makes her feel beautiful and glamourous on her wedding day.
I was also a bit disappointed. I prefer gowns with sleeves and was hoping to see something different in the media. Some strapless dresses are built to cover more of the chest area ans some dresses with sleeves have the back and chest out, so in response to your question, I think it depends on the dress.
ReplyDeleteI also think it depends on the dress, however, from what I've heard from men, a strapless dress, no matter how much it covers can still be an issue (which is my main reason for dressing modestly).
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that it is impossible to be strapless AND modest. It is disappointing to see/hear people say they dress modestly and then bare most of their upper bodies. I'm really surprised a lot of brides can even feel ok stepping into a church in their wedding dresses. I would literally feel naked before God!
